The Dammkar is only for the hardy – everyone else has fun at the mountain station.

Zipflbob fun day at Dammkar on 24.02.2018 in Mittenwald (Karwendelbahn 5min walk from the station).
The Dammkar was recently voted one of the 5 most spectacular slopes in the Alps by Travelbook. Normally only open to skiers and snowboarders, on 24.02.2018 you can take the original mini bob down the slope exclusively.
On seven kilometers of downhill fun, you can sled down the slope freestyle on the zipflbob – this opportunity is only available once a year! The slope is not groomed and is challenging!

Starting at 10 a.m., all you need is a lift ticket for the summit ride. A snow bar, lots of music and hot drinks provide further fun. Wet pants and empty stomachs are catered for in the summit restaurant.
If you don’t have your own mini bob, you can hire one at the summit station for a deposit (EUR 50 per mini bob) or buy one for a special price of EUR 35.

We recommend for the descent (unlike our title hero :)) Helmet, warm and waterproof clothing, sturdy shoes, ski goggles and protectors!
