On January 6, 2019, the 50th traditional horn sled race in Garmisch-Partenkirchen will finally take place in good weather conditions.
Once again this year, horn sledders from various regions will venture down the challenging descent.

Between the breaks, the popular mini bob race, divided into different age groups, will be held again – there are plenty of rental bobs available for this!

and boots at the Olympic ski stadium
11.30 a.m. Traditional Partenkirchen Schäffler dance in the finish area
12 noon All horn sledges must be at the start area,
the spectators in the places along the course.

13.30 Zipflbob competition for children aged 5 to 13
14.45 hrs Start of the largest horn sled in the world

Notes for viewers:

1. Please follow the instructions of the track staff at all times.
2. Spectators are not allowed to stand in the areas closed to them.
3. The track may only be entered with suitable footwear (not gritted).
4. Children may not stand directly at the edge of the race track.
5. Dogs must be kept on a leash.
6Only enter the race course during the race in the race breaks after the start numbers
25 and 50 and after loudspeaker announcements.
7. The organizer rejects any liability for damages suffered by the spectator before, during or after
