BOB.art is the brand name for the new Zipfelbob racing series planned and organized by the event agency Geniestreich. The word BOB.art is made up of BOB (for the zipflbob) and art (=art, as well as arten because there are different types of bobsleds and disciplines). Everyone can take part in BOB.art, whether young or old, professional or beginner. A wide variety of manufacturers will also be represented, as BOB.art has no regulations as to which supplier the zipflbob must be from.
The disciplines are:
- Speed: The maximum speed is measured here
- Downhill: It’s all about speed and skill here
- Cross: A course is set up with jumps and steep bends, 4 bobsleigh riders always start at the same time
Top 3 of all categories
In each race, the first three places in all categories are judged and there is an overall winner at the end. There are the following three categories:
- Children (from 10 years old 2002 to 15 years old 1997)
- Adult men (aged 16 and over, born 1996)
- Adult ladies (aged 16 and over, born 1996)
Industry valuation
There is also an industry rating. This means that the various Bob manufacturers are also rated (comparable to Formula 1).
