Roman Kohl, operator of the German-language tobogganing bible on the Internet (www.rodelfuehrer.de), is always out and about in the snow.
When he’s not tobogganing down the slopes or forest trails on a classic wooden or plastic sled, Roman likes to climb the snow-covered mountains of the Alps with a Zipflbob on his back. Because after every ascent, there is of course the descent or the much more fun descent with the mini bob, as you can see in the photos…
A classic wooden sledge is too heavy for such a tour and a lighter plastic sledge is still too bulky to take with you on a snow tour.
Try it out for yourself! mini bob strapped to your back and off you go into the mountains – the fun is pre-programmed.
You can find lots of information about tobogganing areas in the Alpine region, including the piste conditions and safety tips for tobogganing fun, on Roman’s website www.rodelfuehrer.de and his tobogganing guide as a book – the ideal Christmas present for all tobogganing fans!
