Zipfelbob race on the Götschen 2025

On March 1, the premiere of the big Schönram zipflbob race will take place at Götschen (Bischofswiesen). The fastest pilots can win great beer prizes and there is also a prize for the best costume.

Location: Götschen ski lifts (Bischofswiesen)
Admission: From 9:00 a.m. | Closing time: 9:45 a.m.
Drivers’ briefing: 10:00 am
Race start: approx. 11:00 a.m. I Award ceremony: 3:30 p.m.
Participation fee: 25 € per team of 2

– Special race mode for teams of 2 (at least 2 heats)
– Starter package: Schönramer cap, goggles & drink markers
– Great beer prizes & challenge cup to be won

– Racing bobsleds will be provided
– Free parking for participants and spectators

Helmets are compulsory during the race!

On your marks, get set, go … is the motto on March 1 at the Götschen ski lift. Teams of two race around a slalom course in creative costumes on their zipflbobs. Great beer prizes await the fastest:

1st prize: Challenge cup + 50l beer

2nd prize: 30l beer

3rd prize: 20l beer

Winner of the costume competition: 2 Tragerl Schönramer Hell (0.5l)

The most important information about the Zipfelbob race at a glance:

– Entry fee: 25 euros per team (2 people)
– Several riders from different teams start the race at the same time and collect points for their team depending on their ranking
– Helmets are compulsory !!!
– Bobsleighs are provided – Preparation of the bobsleigh (waxing, …) leads to disqualification
– The exact race mode will be adapted to the number of participants. Details will be provided on site at the riders’ briefing
– pulling, kicking or holding other riders will result in disqualification

How to get there: Please form carpools if possible!

09:00 am to 09:45 am Registration & start number distribution
10:00 am Drivers’ briefing

10:15 am to 10:45 am Tour of the track & bobsleighs

11:00 am Race start

15:30 (at the latest) Award ceremony

16:00 End of the event

We have planned the schedule so that you can still make it to the carnival events in the evening after the race.

Zipflbob action and party at the finish line

You don’t need to bring a bobsleigh – the official Schönramer Racing Zipfl will be provided. Every participant can look forward to at least 2 runs. Around the races you can expect a good atmosphere with party music, snacks & drinks and a beer pong area in the finish area. The racing experts from the Götschen lift ensure perfect slope conditions.

If the snow conditions do not allow the event to run smoothly, it will be canceled in good time.
In this case, the registration fee of 25 euros will be refunded by the organizer.
