Spectacular zipflbob action at Götschen: The Schönram zipflbob race enters its second round

On February 14, it’s time again at Götschen in Bischofswiesen: On your marks, get set, go! At the second edition of the big Schönramer Zipfelbob race, teams of two in creative costumes compete against each other – fast, fun and with a real competitive feeling.

Whether you call it the Zipflbob, Zipfelbob or Original Mini Bob – it’s all about the iconic plastic sled from the 70s that makes this event a real winter highlight in Berchtesgadener Land.

In addition to the action on the course, a relaxed atmosphere awaits in the finish area with music, snacks, drinks and a beer pong area.

What makes the Schönram zipflbob race so special

The Zipfelbob race takes place on a specially prepared slalom course, which is perfectly prepared by the slope experts from Götschen. Several teams start at the same time, making the runs particularly exciting.

Thanks to the knockout system, each team gets at least two runs – ideal for anyone who wants to combine speed and fun.

Prizes for the fastest teams

1st place: Challenge cup + 50 liters of beer
2nd place: 30 liters of beer
3rd place: 20 liters of beer

And pssst … according to rumors, in addition to the official beer prizes, a few original mini bobs might even find their way to particularly fast or particularly creative teams. Is that true? Well – best to find out for yourself 😉

Each team receives a generous starter pack consisting of:

• Schönramer cap
• Sunglasses
• Drink marker

There is also:

• Free parking directly at the Götschen lift
• Official Schönramer Racing Zipfls (bobsleds will be provided)
• Party atmosphere with beer pong area
• At least two race runs
• Perfectly groomed slopes
• Top atmosphere as a warm-up for the carnival evening

Important: Bobs are provided – own zipflbobs/mini bobs are not allowed.

Conditions of participation

• Minimum age: 16 years
• Maximum 120 teams of two
• Fair racing rules (no pulling, kicking or holding on)
• No bob preparation (e.g. waxing)
• Event will only take place if there is sufficient snow (full refund if canceled)
