Zipflbob Cross 2026 – pure excitement, speed and adrenaline

The Zipflbob Cross is one of the most action-packed winter events of the season. Up to 64 starters compete against each other in this spectacular race – separated into men’s and women’s classes. The mix of speed, technique, obstacles and fair duels makes this race a real highlight for spectators.

Whether you compete yourself or join in the excitement as a spectator: thrills are guaranteed at the Zipflbob Cross!

Procedure & schedule

Start number distribution

• from 12:00 noon
• Location: Finish area at the Hotel Unternberg Hof
  Please arrive in good time – the race will be handed out on time and without extra time.

Race start

• Start 1st round: 13:00
  The race is run in cross format in several rounds until the grand finale.

Award ceremony

• directly after the final

How the Zipflbob Cross works

The ZBC course will be adapted to the snow conditions at short notice.
The type and number of obstacles is decided by the race management on race day – maximum flexibility for optimum safety and excitement.

Small finale

As in the previous year, there will again be a small final in 2026:
The second-placed participants in the 3rd round will compete for 5th to 8th place.

Own Zipflbob

It is permitted to bring your own Zipflbob, but without a reduction in the starting fee.
Rental bobs are available in the finish area and must be carried from there to the start in the starting order.

 

Rules & Safety

• Helmet compulsory
• A suitable helmet is mandatory for all race participants.
• Fairness rule – no physical contact

For safety reasons, the following actions are strictly prohibited during the race:

• Willful stopping of other drivers
• willful withdrawal of others
• willful pushing of others

Anyone acting against these guidelines will be disqualified immediately.

Entry fee

• 15 € per person
  (incl. rental bob, if required)

 

Parking

Please only use the parking spaces at the valley station of the Unternbergbahn (subject to charge).
There are no parking spaces available in the finish area itself.

 

Mulled wine served in the finish area

A warming mulled wine bar awaits you at the Hotel Unternberg Hof – perfect for all spectators and participants after the runs.
