At the beginning of its invention, the original mini bob, also known as Zipfybob or plastic bob, was still produced in the color red throughout, only later it was decided to use the contrasting colors red-black (The handle, called “Zipfl” or “Zipfi” in Bavarian dialect, as well as seat in black, Zipfybob body in red), as you can still buy it today.

The red mini bob stands out particularly strongly against the snow-white background and has been providing color in the snow since 1976.
