The GVB and BWGV Winter Games & 47th GVB Winter Games will take place in Oberstdorf for the 17th time.<\/p>\n

All information about the Geno Winter Games 2017 as well as the conditions of participation and registration can be found at: https:\/\/www.geno-winterspiele.de\/<\/a><\/p>\n

Registration for all disciplines will open on Wednesday, November 2, 2016. The registration deadline is Friday, January 27, 2017. <\/b><\/p>\n

\n. Entries received after this date can no longer be considered, please note that multiple entries are possible by clicking on the respective discipline when registering a participant.<\/p>\n

Description:<\/b>
\nThe competition will be held in two groups, divided into men and women. The track can be inspected all day on the day of the event (only inspection along the track, no driving or entering). Toboggans will be provided along the course. It is not permitted to use toboggans that you have brought yourself! Please wear appropriate clothing (gloves, sturdy shoes, winter clothing). <\/p>\n

Attention:<\/b>
\nThe competition is limited to max. 400 participants <\/b> and registration is regulated to allow several institutes to register. As of November 2, 2016<\/b> a maximum of 5 participants per institute can register for the tobogganing competition <\/b>. From November 14, 2016, the maximum number of participants of 400 can be filled up.<\/p>\n

The organizer reserves the right to carry out late starts – if time permits – also outside the drawn starting order.<\/p>\n

Classification:<\/b>
\nWomen and men start in separate classes. There is no division into age groups. <\/p>\n

Attention:<\/b>
\nDue to the high number of participants, there will only be one run. In order to ensure a smooth process with regard to the allocation of the sleds provided, we ask you to be at the competition venue at least 30 minutes before your start time. The start will be at 30-second intervals. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Please note: Each team brings a team board to the march-in – just like at the Olympic Games. The three most original boards will be awarded a prize! <\/b><\/p>\n

Joint departure of the participants from the station forecourt towards the Nordic Park:

\nAccompanied by the Oberstdorf band. The teams are welcomed by name. <\/p>\n

Official opening:<\/b>
\n5.45 pm
\nOfficial opening of the 2017 Winter Games by the presidents of the cooperative associations. Followed by the award ceremony for the luge competitions. <\/p>\n

DG HYP will award the three most original team appearances at the opening ceremony with a prize of 500 euros \/ 400 euros \/ 300 euros.<\/b><\/p>\n

The “opening party” will take place afterwards in the ice sports center.<\/b><\/p>\n

Your physical well-being is well catered for!<\/p>\n

IMPORTANT!!!<\/b><\/p>\n

Each participant will receive an admission wristband with their documents\/starting numbers.<\/b><\/p>\n

This ribbon entitles participants to admission:<\/b><\/p>\n

  • for the opening party on Friday<\/b><\/li>\n
  • for the award ceremony and the ski ball on Saturday<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Minors receive an admission wristband in a different color. The banks are responsible for ensuring that minors are not served alcohol and leave the event at midnight. <\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
