Up to <strong>64 starters<\/strong> compete against each other in this spectacular race &#8211; separated into men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s classes. The mix of speed, technique, obstacles and fair duels makes this race a real highlight for spectators.  <\/p>\n<p>Whether you compete yourself or join in the excitement as a spectator: thrills are guaranteed at the Zipflbob Cross![\/vc_column_text][vc_separator css=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Procedure &amp; schedule<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>Start number distribution<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>from 12:00 noon<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong> Finish area at the <em>Hotel Unternberg Hof<\/em><br \/>\nPlease arrive in good time &#8211; the race will be handed out on time and without extra time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Race start<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Start 1st round:<\/strong> <strong>13:00<\/strong><br \/>\nThe race is run in cross format in several rounds until the grand finale.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Award ceremony<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>directly <strong>after the final<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator css=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h4><strong>How the Zipflbob Cross works<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The <strong>ZBC course<\/strong> will be <strong>adapted to the snow conditions at short notice<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThe type and number of obstacles is decided by the race management <strong>on race day<\/strong> &#8211; maximum flexibility for optimum safety and excitement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Small finale<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As in the previous year, there will again be a <strong>small final<\/strong> in 2026:<br \/>\nThe second-placed participants in the <strong>3rd round<\/strong> will compete for <strong>5th to 8th place<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Own Zipflbob<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is permitted to bring <strong>your own Zipflbob<\/strong>, <strong>but without a reduction in the starting fee.<\/strong><br \/>\nRental bobs are available in the <strong>finish area<\/strong> and must be carried from there to the <strong>start in the starting order.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Rules &amp; Safety<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Helmet compulsory<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>A <strong>suitable helmet<\/strong> is <strong>mandatory for all race participants<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fairness rule &#8211; no physical contact<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For safety reasons, the following actions are <strong>strictly prohibited<\/strong> during the race:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Willful <strong>stopping of<\/strong> other drivers<\/li>\n<li>willful <strong>withdrawal<\/strong> of others<\/li>\n<li>willful <strong>pushing of<\/strong> others<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Anyone acting against these guidelines will be <strong>disqualified immediately<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The official <strong>IZF race rules<\/strong> also apply!
